On Friday October 7, 2022, Chief Gregory H. Meyer presented two newly appointed Lakewood Police Officers graduates with their Basic Police Academy Certificates at the Ocean County Police Academy Ceremony Class of 112th.
The two Lakewood officers, Leonardo Shimonovich and Julian Guzman. Leo is the son of Lieutenant Robert and Sgt. Jeannette Shimonovich, and brother of Ptl. Nicklas (#392) who tragically died two years ago. Julian Guzman is son of Ptl. Alex Guzman, a Shabbos Member of Hatzolah, and a Lakewood Firefighter.
Also among the graduates, were officers from Jackson and other Ocean County Towns. #integrity #honor #local71 #bluelinefamily
