The Lakewood Township Police Department’s Fleet Services Unit is responsible for the acquisition, outfitting, and maintenance of all department vehicles. From standard patrol units to specialized emergency response vehicles, our fleet is designed to meet the diverse needs of our officers and the community we serve.

Every vehicle in our fleet is carefully selected and equipped to ensure peak operational performance. Our Fleet Services Unit oversees the installation of essential emergency equipment, including:

• Emergency lighting
• Radios and communication systems
• Sirens and warning devices
• Custom law enforcement equipment installations

In-House Maintenance A key component of our Fleet Services Unit is the ability to perform the majority of vehicle maintenance in-house. Our dedicated Public Works mechanics handle routine maintenance, emergency repairs, and specialized equipment servicing, ensuring our vehicles remain mission-ready at all times.
