DRUGS
January 14, 2025, Officers responded to a report of a suspicious person forcefully entering a residence on Main Street. Upon arrival, they conducted a search of the premises and discovered Kevin Love, 56, from Toms River, N.J. Near Love, officers found a blunt object, and they observed that the basement doors had been broken. Love was arrested for trespassing, and during a search incident to arrest, drugs were found in his possession. Subsequently, Love was charged with drug possession.

Officers Sean Capper, Gregory Cannon, Nicholas Romeo, and Brian Guzman assisted in the investigation.

DRUGS
January 17, 2025, Officer Michael Villalba responded to WaWa for a possible intoxicated driver at the fuel pump. The officer located the driver Jessica Napolitano, 37, of Brick, N.J. Dispatch confirmed she had an active warrant and was subsequently arrested. A search conducted during the arrest revealed drugs in her possession leading to charges of drug possession and other related charges.

Sergeant Kevin Nickerson, Officers Caleb Alvarado, and Nicholas Cusanelli assisted in the investigation.

DRUGS
January 17, 2025, Officers Joseph Mandelbaum and Jacob Matthews patrolled the area of First Street and Clifton Avenue and observed a vehicle with a violation. The officers conducted a motor vehicle traffic stop. Sergio Vasquez-Amador, 35, of Lakewood, N.J. was the driver and dispatch confirmed multiple active warrants. He was subsequently arrested. A search conducted during the arrest revealed drugs in her possession leading to charges of drug possession and other related charges.

DWI
January 18, 2025, Officer Caleb Alvarado patrolled the area of Albert Avenue and observed a careless vehicle in the roadway. The officer conducted a motor vehicle traffic stop, and the driver Luis Espana-Candelas, 24, of Lakewood, N.J., was arrested for driving while intoxicated (DWI). He was charged with Reckless Driving, Careless Driving, Open Alcoholic Beverage, and other related charges.
