DWI
February 13, 2024, at 5;30 p.m., Officer Robert Meyer Jr. was patrolling in the area of New Hampshire Avenue and observed a careless driver in the roadway. Christopher Polperio, 44, from Toms River, N.J. was arrested for DWI and charged with related offenses.
Officer Sean Ward assisted in the investigation.
WANTED PERSON
February 14, 2024, at 12:30 p.m., Officers Jeffrey Emmons and Joseph Soriano were in the area of 2nd St., and observed Filomeno Cholula-Garcia, 48, from Jackson, N.J. The officers recognized Garcia from previous encounters and requested dispatch to check for warrants. A warrant was confirmed and Garcia was subsequently arrested and processed.
DWI
February 14, 2024, at 5 p.m., Officer Eric Micallef responded to 900 Rt. 70 East, for a woman in a vehicle driver seat throwing bottles on the ground and acting erratic. Melissa Gruppuso, 43, from Mount Holly, N.J. was arrested for DWI and charged with related offenses.
Sergeant Andrew Solomon, Officers Joseph Dellavella, Joshua Gianoulis, and Vincent Wittmann assisted in the investigation.
WANTED PERSON
February 16, 2024, at 2 a.m., Officer Michael Sheehan was patrolling Lexington Avenue and observed Maurice Stephens, 32, from Lakewood, N.J. Dispatch confirmed a local warrant and Stephens was subsequently arrested and brought into headquarters for processing.
Officers Bryan Vega, John Ganley, Richard Uriarte, and Adam Rihacek assisted in the investigation.
DWI
February 17, 2024, at 2 a.m., Sgt. Kevin Martin was patrolling as Road Sergeant in the area of Joe Parker Rd. and observed a vehicle stopped and idling at an “in and out” only driveway with a male sleeping in the driver seat. Marco Medez-Zuniga, 19, from Howell, N.J. was arrested for DWI and charged with related offenses.
Officers Michael Milano, Richard Uriarte, and Nicholas Cusanelli assisted in the investigation.
