(photo gallery) On Friday June 8th, 2018 The 200 Club of Ocean County held an Award Reception for heroism and dedication to duty. Five of our very own Lakewood Officers were recipients. The Valor Award was given to Patrolmen Mike Ruiz and Matt Mckee. The Life Saving Award was given to Patrolmen Daniel Merril, Joseph Soriano and Patrolwoman Stephanie Campbell for the engulfed structure fire that took place on Septempber 29, 2017.
