The Lakewood Police Department would like to show their gratitude to Thomas Calabro, owner of Twin City jewelers located at 36 Clifton Avenue in Lakewood New Jersey. Mr. Calabro has donated a Giant brand electric mountain bike to help supplement the Bicycle Patrol in Lakewood. His generous donation is to continue to support law enforcement and help us to maintain law and order in the downtown area of Lakewood.
Mr Calabro states Bicycle patrol puts the public in direct contact with the officers. I believe this bolsters good relationships between the two.
He has been a long time supporter of the Lakewood Police Department and has even donated other mountain bikes to us in the past. Twin City Jewelers has been in business in Lakewood for the past 40 years.
