On Thursday, June 13, 2024, the “Stop the Bleed” training event was a resounding success. This collaborative initiative between The Lakewood Community Coalition and Homeland Security significantly enhanced safety and preparedness.
The training aimed to distribute free tourniquet kits to houses of worship, and received enthusiastic participation and positive feedback from all attendees. LPD Officers Joseph Sandstrom and Kyle Seehausen provided essential training, ensuring participants were well-equipped with life-saving skills.
