DRUGS
November 24, 2024, Officer Connor Woods was patrolling Hurley Avenue when he noticed a vehicle parked in a known high-crime area. The driver then moved the car to another location and drove away. Officer Woods conducted a traffic stop after observing the driver commit a traffic violation. During the stop, the K9 unit performed an exterior sniff of the vehicle with a positive indication. Eric Jurovitsky, 40, from Beachwood, N.J. gave consent to search the vehicle and he was subsequently arrested for Drugs.
Officers Robert Meyer Jr., Daniel Hourigan, Jacob Matthews, and OCSO K9 Vosseller assisted in the investigation.
WANTED PERSON
November 26, 2024, Officer Gregory Cannon responded to a male party sleeping behind the wheel in the area of Regal Court. The officer located the vehicle and the driver Juanay Singletary, 26, from Lakewood, N.J. completed the field sobriety test. Dispatched confirmed an out-of-town warrant and he was subsequently arrested.
Officers Daniel Hourigan, Alexander Lopez, and Nicholas Florio assisted in the investigation.
DWI
November 28, 2024, Officers Caleb Alvarado and Richard Uriarte were investigating a call at Ocean Avenue, when they observed a vehicle parking into a spot and the driver drinking an alcoholic beverage. Adiel Cervantes-Lopez, 38, from Lakewood, N.J. was arrested for DWI. He was charged with Open Alcoholic Beverage, Careless Driving, and Driving while suspended.
Officers Kyle Seehausen and Joseph Mandelbaum assisted in the investigation.
WANTED PERSON
November 30, 2024, Officer Michael Sheehan patrolled the area of Ocean Avenue and made a random vehicle inquiry on a vehicle in the area. The vehicle returned as an unregistered, the officer conducted a motor vehicle traffic stop. Dispatch confirmed an active warrant for the driver Justino Mendoza-Campos, 66, from Lakewood, N.J. He was subsequently arrested and charged with other related offenses.
Officers Joseph Mandelbaum, Cale Alvarado, and Richard Uriarte assisted in the investigation.
