DRUGS
November 16, 2024, Officer Michael Sheehan was patrolling the area of Second St. and Clifton Avenue when he observed Raul Reyes-Aguilar, 26, from Lakewood, N.J.. The officer had previous encounters with Reyes-Aguilar for various violations in town. Dispatch confirmed an active County warrant and he was subsequently arrested. During a search conducted incident to arrest, drugs were found on Reyes-Aguilar, leading to additional charges being filed against him.
Officer Gregory Cannon assisted in the investigation.
DWI
November 16, 2024, Officer Adam Bylsma was in the area of 166 Main St. and conducted a random license plate inquiry on a vehicle that was driving on the roadway. The Mobile Data Terminal (MDT) alerted the officer that the vehicle was unregistered and the owner had a suspended driver’s license. The officer conducted a motor vehicle traffic stop and the driver Angel Rosado-Madera, 49, from Lakewood, N.J. was arrested for DWI and was charged with multiple related charges.
Officers Kyle Seehausen, Caleb Alvarado, James Komsa, and Byran Rodriguez assisted in the investigation.
DRUGS/ THEFT
November 18, 2024, Officer Connor Woods was patrolling the area of Ocean Avenue near the railroad tracks when he recognized Tara A. Worthy, a 35-year-old from Toms River, N.J., from prior encounters. He requested dispatch to check for any active warrants and was informed of a confirmed local warrant. Worthy was subsequently arrested. During a search conducted incident to the arrest, drugs and money orders linked to a business were found in her possession. Following further investigation, Worthy was charged with Receiving Stolen, Possession of Drug Para., Possession of Prescription, and other related charges.

DWI/DRUGS
November 23, 2024, Officer Richard Uriarte was patrolling the area of Clover Street and Cedarbridge Avenue when he observed a vehicle being operated carelessly on the roadway. He initiated a traffic stop, during which the driver, Angel Morales-Martinez, 45, of Lakewood, N.J., was arrested for driving while intoxicated (DWI). A search conducted during the arrest revealed drugs in Morales-Martinez’s possession, leading to charges of careless driving, reckless driving, possession of narcotics, and other related offenses. The passenger, Diana Gonzalez-Batista, 28, also from Lakewood, N.J., was found to be in possession of drugs and was arrested for drug possession.
