August 16, 2024, Officer Ptl. Nicholas Cussanelli patrolled the area of Somerset Avenue & E. County Line Rd. and observed a vehicle driving carelessly. Esau Garcia-Carreno, 26, from Lakewood, N.J. was arrested for DWI. He was charged with Reckless and other related charges.

Lieutenant Michael Young, Officers Nadine Clarke, and Brian Guzman assisted in the investigation.

August 17, 2024, Officer Michael Sheehan responded to the E. County Line Rd. and Princeton Avenue to a motor vehicle crash. Edi Vazquez-Vazquez, 33, from Jackson, N.J. was arrested for DWI. He was charged with Reckless, Careless, and other related charges.

Officers Dawry Desangles, Ryan Laird, and Richard Uriarte assisted in the investigation.

WANTED
August 18, 2024, Officer Robert Meyer Jr., responded to a disturbance in front of Pine Cone Liquors on 2nd Street. At the scene, the officer recognized previous encounters with Steven Reeves, 61, from Lakewood, N.J. Dispatch confirmed an out-of-town warrant for failure to appear and Reeves was arrested.

Officers Alexander Lopez, Connor Woods, and Derek McAvoy assisted in the investigation.

DWI
August 26, 2024, Officer Daniel Hourigan responded to a vehicle in the middle of the roadway causing a traffic hazard. Lorenzo Morales, 31, from Toms River, N.J. was arrested for DWI. He was charged with Reckless, Careless, and other related charges.

Officers William Bowers, Gregory Cannon, and Alexander Lopez assisted in the investigation.

WEAPON OFFENSE
August 27, 2024, Officers responded to Madison Avenue on the border of Howell Township for a suspicious male waving a weapon at passing cars. Howell Police officers also responded to this incident. The officers located the male who matched the description given by dispatch with a weapon in his hand. Anthony Rallis, 57, from Lakewood, N.J. became combative with officers at the scene and he was arrested for possession with a weapon, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and obstruction.

Sgt. Chris Dibiase, Officers Adam Bylsma, Lorenzo Camacho, Daniel Debartolomeis, and Sean Ward assisted in the investigation.
