DRUGS
January 5, 2024, at 4 a.m., Officer Jose Rivera processed James Hinton, 51, from Lakewood, N.J., who turned himself in on a warrant. During booking, Hinton was found in possession of drugs and subsequently charged.
Officer Jeffrey Emmons and Joseph Soriano assisted in the investigation.
DRUGS
January 6, 2024, at 1900 hrs., Officer Connor Woods was patrolling the area near 5th St. & Madison Avenue when he noticed a suspicious vehicle in a high crime zone. After monitoring the vehicle for some time, the officer decided to stop it. The driver, Jesus Rievoles-Gomez, 34, from Bricktown, N.J., and passenger, Adriano Castillo, 54, from Bricktown, N.J., were inside the vehicle. Officer Woods ran a warrant check and discovered that Jesus had a warrant for his arrest, so he was taken into custody.
K9 SHIM was called to the scene and conducted an exterior sniff of the vehicle. SHIM signaled a positive presence of narcotics in the passenger area. Adriano was then arrested for possession of narcotics and brought into headquarters for processing.
Officer Joseph Mandelbaum, Sara Brooks, Derek McAvoy, Joseph Dellavella, and K9 Shim assisted in the investigation.
DWI
January 6, 2024, at 11 p.m., Officer Richard Uriarte responded to the area of Ocean Avenue for a careless vehicle in the roadway. David Villegasherrera 41, from Point Pleasant, N.J., was arrested for DWI and charged with related offenses.
Officer Julian Guzman, Sean Capper, and Nicholas Romeo assisted in the investigation.

January 7, 2024, at midnight, Officer Michael Villalba witnessed a motor vehicle crash in the area of Cedarbridge Avenue. Othoniel Gallegosdoroteo, 46, from Lakewood N.J. was arrested for DWI and charged with related offenses.
Officer Dawry Desangles and Daniel Debartolomeis assisted in the investigation.
