DWI
On December 9, 2023, at midnight, Officer Adam Rihacek was in the area of E. County Line Rd, when the officer observed a traffic violation. Rene Alvarado, 32, from Lakewood, NJ, was arrested for DWI and charged with the following charges: Reckless Driving, Carless Driving and other related charges.
Officers John Ganley, Adam Bylsma, and Michael Sheehan assisted in the investigation.
WARRANT
December 9, 2023, at 11:30 p.m., Officer Richard Uriarte was patrolling the area of Woehr Avenue, and observed Idequan Allen, 29, from Lakewood, NJ, from previous encounters. Dispatch confirmed an active warrant and Allen was subsequently arrested.
Officers Leonardo Shimonovich, Julian Guzman, and Adam Bylsma assisted in the investigation.
DRUGS
December 10, 2023, at 3:30 p.m., Officer Connor Woods was patrolling in the area of Clifton Avenue, and the officer was approached by an individual for a person loitering in the area to solicit drugs. Manuel Diaz, 33, from Lakewood, N.J. was arrested for wandering to obtain CDS.

SHOPLIFTING
December 10, 2023, at 5 p.m., Officers Sarah Brooks and Justin Burkhardt responded to a shoplifting incident at 945 River Avenue. Upon their arrival, Officer Kyle Carrington was already speaking with Stacy Jordan, a 59-year-old resident of Toms River, N.J. The officers were able to review the video footage which showed Jordan removing items from the store without paying for them. Jordan admitted to the crime and was subsequently arrested for shoplifting.
