On November 16th, the Town Square came alive with warmth and generosity as the Lakewood Police Department and Lakewood Community Coalition, in partnership with Calvary Lighthouse, JBJ Soul Kitchen, hosted a heartwarming Soup Kitchen and Coat Drive.  Special thanks to Vida City Church; Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish; Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Iota Chi Sigma Chapter (AKA Jersey Shore Sigmas); Cobra One South Toms River, NJ; NJSP; OCSO; Operation Rise; WellPoint; OCHD; Boost Mobile; Ocean County College, with support from its President, Dr. Pamela Monaco; and MMCSC Hospital volunteers for their invaluable contributions and support. Your dedication helped ensure the success of this event and touched the lives of so many in need.

Thanks to our incredible community, over 500 coats were distributed to those in need, and countless bowls of delicious soup were served to keep spirits high on a windy day. We are deeply grateful to everyone who donated, volunteered, or came by to share in the spirit of giving. Together, we are making a real difference. Let’s keep building a more compassionate and caring community. Thank you for making this event such a success!
