The Lakewood Community Coalition extends its heartfelt thanks to Yolanda Melville from the Attorney General’s Office and Valerie Segraves from 107.1 The Boss for their attendance and valuable contributions to the discussion. A special acknowledgment goes to Jennifer Hakim from Monarch Housing Associates, who highlighted the urgent need for more houses of worship to operate a Code Blue Warming site, a critical resource for the community during harsh winter conditions. It’s also important to recognize Lady Frazer and Pastor Erica Frazer, Greater Bethel Church of God, who have been operating the existing Code Blue Warming Center in Lakewood and require a new location to continue serving the community.
