Lakewood Township: On Sunday, July 23, 2023, the officers of the Lakewood Township Police Department
in conjunction with the NJ Division of Highway Traffic Safety conducted a “Cops in Crosswalks” operation,

July 12, 2023 – At 10 pm, Officer Brandon Burkhardt was patrolling the area of Massachusetts Avenue. The officer observed a reckless driver and conducted a motor vehicle stop. Luis Hernandez-Martinez, 31, from Lakewood, NJ was arrested and charged with the following: Possession Narcotic, Possession of Paraphernalia, and given multiple summonses.
