A school security initiative was hosted by Shraigie Pinter at BIAS PINCHOS, on October 6, 2021. In collaboration with “The School Safety Meeting” were Chief Gregory H. Meyer with the Lakewood Police Department, the Ocean County Prosecutors Office; Fire Marshall of Ocean County; and Igud Hamosdos. All entities presented eye opening solutions and awareness in preparing school safety in advance.

Bullets on the topics that were discussed were School Safety, Active Shooter, Lockdown Preparedness, Evacuation Drills, Educating Teachers/Staff on how to properly lockdown, and Dormitory Safety.

Key points highlighted were to plan ahead, be aware of your surroundings, identify and report any suspicious activities, and familiarize yourselves with the evacuation plan.
