Well, we just wrapped up another exciting month here at LPD. October was filled with lots of fun with Halloween activities as well as another successful Breast Cancer Awareness Fund Drive. From October 1st through the 31st, Officers were permitted to purchase and wear special Breast Cancer awareness hats. Proceeds from the purchase of the hats will be donated to a local Breast Cancer Awareness Center in the near future.
Speaking of the future, things are about to get a little “hairy” around here. In an unprecedented move, Chief Gregory Meyer has authorized our Officers to participate in No Shave November! Officers who wish to participate must pay $1 per day in order to grow their facial locks! All proceeds will be donated to a local charity dealing with men’s health.
