Sadly, One of our retirees Eugene “Gene” Stephen Tobias 74, passed away on October 25, 2018. “Gene” Stephen Tobias badge #172, was appointed as a Lakewood Patrolman on May 13,1974 and retired on June 30, 2004.
Eugene is survived by his wife, Lisa Ann; sons, Michael of Fayetteville, GA, Stephen and Gene, both of New Jersey; daughter, Joanne of Florida; four grandchildren; one great-grand-child; sister, Karen of Kentucky; and stepdaughter, Melissa of New Jersey.
