A few of our Lakewood Officers participated in “Read Across America” on March 2 in our local schools in honor of Dr. Suess Birthday. Sgt. R. Humeny, Sgt. L. Marshall, Sgt. P. Larosa, Ptl. M. Zwick, Ptlwmn. S. Jones, SRO S. Nickens, SRO J. Marrero and Ptl. M. Mckee. The Officers read an array of books and authors to 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th graders. The annual program surely adds a smile to the teachers and students faces in anticipation for the next book to be read.
