Four of our Lakewood Brother officers will be riding this years 2018 Police Unity Tour Chapter 10. Sgt. Thomas D’Elia, Sgt. Erik Menck, Ptl. Edgardo Vega and Ret. Gary Przewoznik. Also, the widow of one of our fallen officers Ptl. William Preslar, Lisa Preslar. This will be Lisa’s tenth consecutive year. The primary purpose of the Police Unity Tour is to raise awareness of Law Enforcement Officers who have died in the line of duty. The secondary purpose is to raise funds for the National Law Enforcement Officer’s Memorial and Museum. The ride to Washington, DC will commence from Monmouth County Sheriff’s Department on Wed, May 9, to Sat, May 12 and the Candlelight Vigil will be on Sunday, May 13 (click: calendar).
