The Lakewood Police Department was honored last Saturday October 14th with a Blue Mass for “Peace, Partnership & Gratitude”, hosted by Georgian Court University. This honor was to celebrate those who protect and serve and to remember those who have fallen during their tenure. In all, over 60 Lakewood Police Officers, joined by their families, were in attendance. We would like to express sincere thanks and gratitude to Reverend Anthony DiPalma, the Vice President of Integration, Evelyn Quinn and GCU President Dr. Joseph Marbach, along with LPD Capt. Steve Allaire, for their efforts in planning this great day.
