STOLEN/RECOVERED
April 16, 2023 – At 6:00 pm, Officer Ryan Laird responded to the area of Waterview Dr. for a Honda Odyssey parked for more than two weeks in the lot, further investigation revealed the vehicle was reported stolen on February 7, 2023, and entered stolen NCIC by Officer William Allen. The vehicle once located was processed by CSI and returned to the owner.
BURGLARY, OBSTRUCTION/RESISTING
April 15, 2023 – At 11:45 pm, Officer Ryan Laird was investigating an unrelated case in the area of Woodlake Manor Dr., when he walked back to his patrol vehicle he noticed Jaezon A. Ellis 19 years old, from Long Branch, NJ with one of the patrol cars with the door wide open and no other officers near the police vehicles. Ellis ran on foot immediately after being discovered and apprehended by officers. Vehicle footage revealed a crime was committed and J. Ellis was charged with Burglary to MV; Obstruction; Resisting Arrest.
Officers Michael Sheehan, Joseph Rusk, Anthony Amoroso, Michael Grant, and Kyle Seehausen assisted in the investigation.
DISORDERLY
April 15, 2023 – At 02:00 am, Officers Adam Rihacek and Jose Rivera responded to the area of Bergen Avenue for multiple people fighting. Fernando Flores 23 years old, from Lakewood, NJ was arrested for Disorderly. He was charged with the following: Disorderly; Simple Assault. The victim received medical attention at the scene.

THEFT/CREDIT CARD FRAUD
April 10, 2023 – At 10:00 pm Officer Anthony Prisco responded to the area of Henry Street for a report of theft of credit cards, and a wallet missing. The victim explained to the officer that a message via text by the bank that there was fraudulent use of the credit card. Officers checked the local establishment’s video footage and were able to recognize the suspect to be Karim Kendall 48 years old, from Howell NJ. He was arrested and charged with the following: Theft of moveable property, Credit Card Offense, and transported to OCJ.
