Lakewood PBA members formed a team,”SHOCK AND THAW”, and will be participating in this years 2018 Polar Bear Plunge in Seaside.
A Polar Bear Plunge is an annual event that is held during the winter where participants enter a body of water despite the low temperature for a charitable organization.
The “SHOCK AND THAW” team are truly inspired by the athletes of the Special Olympics and will take the plunge Saturday, February 24th. The team is currently in the process of raising money for Special Olympics New Jersey.
