**IMPORTANT INFORMATION **
Just before 10:30 on January 16th, Officer Villalba was dispatched to an Terrace home after the resident discovered an arrow in their door.
Further investigation, determined that it was most likely fired from a crossbow. Luckily, no one was injured.
At this time the matter is under investigation, anyone with information is urged to contact Det. Patrick Kearns at 732-363-0200 ext. 5338
UPDATE: After further review of all known information, it appears that the incident happened sometime between the hours of 8:30 am and the time of the call. Given the fact that the home is adjacent to several wooded areas, known for hunting, we believe that the crossbow was most likely, inaccurately fired, by a hunter.
