On Wednesday, May 31, 2023, La Casa De La Tía Restaurant & El Oaxaqueno Restaurant & Bakery (Adrian Juarez, owner) Alejandra, the owner of La Casa De La Tia, recently approached Father Guilherme Andrino and Cori Scotti from Our Lady of Guadalupe. Alejandra expressed her desire to give back and show appreciation to the Lakewood Police Officers for hosting a successful Cinco De Mayo with a Cop event.
The Cinco De Mayo with a Cop event was well-received by her patrons and garnered positive feedback on their social media page, thanks to the array of photos with the officers. This is a great example of the positive impact community events can have.
As a member of the Parish, Alejandra is pleased with the continuous relationship between the Parish and the Police Department. Alejandra and Adrian wanted to set up a grill in the parking lot and serve fresh tacos to the law enforcement officers and the civilian employees. The staff set up for lunch on the outdoor patio in the rear back lot, a great place for all to enjoy a fresh delicious lunch.
We would like to express our deep appreciation and gratitude for this heartwarming success to Alejandra, Adrian, Jorge, Zoyla (Angelas oro Laminado), Giovanni, Carmelo, Ocean Academy Charter School Mrs. Valeria Smith, and Lorna Hasel. Thank you very much for your support.
