(photos) On April 14, 2019 Georgian Court College hosted a charitable dodgeball game. Arturo Sanchez (student) and Ptl. Micallef organized the tournament, and in attendance were 2 Lakewood PD teams, one Lakewood FD team and 7 student teams.
The money raised at the dodgeball tournament went towards bringing Ella G Clarke and Oak Street Elementary school for gcu’s CACC Festival Championship. The university hosted a tour of the campus, a front and center view of the championship game and provided them with lunch for the day! The NCAA sent shirts and goodies for them too.
It’s an amazing community outreach program that GCU hosts for Lakewood students to experience the CACC festival championship.
