It’s difficult to believe with the chilly weather that Spring has sprung! However, Spring will eventually triumph and make it’s mark by ending the winter blues and transitioning it’s phase to a scorching Summer. In some places, the season brings mild temperatures in the 60’s and 70’s. The temperature level of 72 degrees (F) tends to be the most comfortable for people and those heavy winter layers can be set aside for storage. Here are some reasons Spring is so delightful:

  1. Daylight Savings Time is favorable to get things done as your days feel a whole lot longer and your energy seems to be endless. Some researchers say those extra hours can be a major mood-booster.
  2. No more Winter coats that means replacing your bulky coat with your favorite jean jacket that will look great with every outfit. Whether it’s a white t-shirt or a silk blouse.
  3. Rain showers brings May flowers. After all, there’s nothing better than drifting off to sleep to the sound of rain falling on the roof.
  4. Flowers are in bloom there’s something about fresh blossoming flowers on a tree lined street or peeking out of a field of grass that makes us happy.
  5. New leaves. This beautiful evidence adds more life to trees. The tree bark is darker creating contrast with the flowers that bloom. They’re proof that winter is over.
  6. Birds are back. They sing and add to the music of everything going on around you. They’re proof that the weather is warmer. Yet again, more proof that winter is over.
  7. Outdoor workouts are back no gym membership, no problem! The weather is just right for you to get outdoors whether you like bike riding, jogging or going on long walks, Spring allows you to enjoy outdoor activities.
  8. Outdoor dining there’s nothing more enjoyable on a leisurely day than to sit outside and enjoy a tasty meal or sip on a refreshing beverage.
  9. Sports. Spring is that rare season where almost all major sports are played. Professional baseball is starting up, the NBA and NHL playoffs are kicking off, there’s the NCAA Basketball Tournament, the NFL draft and college football hosts all of it’s Spring football games.
  10. Spring brings the family together whether at a music festival, trips to the park or Spring cleaning the yard in preparation for the Summer season to begin.
